St Martin in the Fields
Sited in the northeast corner of London’s Trafalgar Square, St Martin in the Fields is a landmark London building. The current church was constructed in 1724, having been rebuilt on a number of occasions dating back almost 800 years. At one time it was indeed surrounded by fields but the landscape of today is very different, with tourists busy visiting the areas many attractions, from the National Gallery to the nearby London Coliseum.
