Millennium Park is known to the locals as ‘Downtown Chicago’s front lawn’ and it is part of Grant Park within the Chicago Loop area. Millennium Park Chicago is a major venue for free concerts in the city. This virtual tour shows the view underneath the state of the art sound system attached to the stainless steel trellis. The stage is the Jay Pritzker Pavilion which was designed by architect Frank Gehry. To the left of the stage on the path is Anish Kapoor's Cloud Gate sculpture (also known as ‘The Bean’).
