22 Bishopsgate

22 Bishopsgate’s official name is Twentytwo. This 278 metre 62 floor building is due to be completed in 2019. In 2008, at the same address, construction began on the Pinnacle which would have been the second tallest building in London (and the EU) after the Shard. Following the recession building was suspended, the original plans were scrapped and a new design emerged. It’ll still be the second tallest building in London (the tallest in the City), but the recently approved 1 Undershaft will take this title on completion, sometime in the mid 2020s.
